ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Customers of participating restaurants may choose to join a restaurant’s messaging or loyalty program to receive updates via text message.
This demonstration shows how restaurants can communicate with customers using SMS for:
• loyalty rewards
• special promotions
• reservation confirmations
• review requests
• customer service responses
Customers must voluntarily opt in before receiving messages.
How Customers Opt in
Customers may opt in to receive messages from a restaurant in the following ways:
• Providing their phone number in-store when joining the restaurant’s loyalty program
• Completing a website form or scanning a QR code
• Texting a keyword to join the restaurant's messaging program
• Initiating a conversation by contacting the business directly
By opting in, customers agree to receive SMS messages related to their interaction with the restaurant, including promotions, loyalty rewards, updates, and customer service responses. Message frequency may vary.
